ACMEE 2012 10th International Machine Tools Exhibition , was the biggest exhibition on manufacturing technology , organized by Ambattur Industrial Estate Manufacturers Association (AIEMA) and AIEMA Technology Centre in Chennai Trade centre, Chennai, India from June 14-18 2012, opening wide vistas for widening the scope of opportunities.
The event started off with a right note on June 14, at Chennai Trade Centre, with MC Sampath, Minister of Rural Industries and Noon Meal formally inaugurating the fair. Also present were dignitaries including Dr Niranjan Mardi, Principal Secretary, MSME Dpartment; Hans Raj Varma, CMD, TANSIDCO; P Sriram, Chairman, Chennai Institute of Technology; Satish Sadasivan, Managing Director of Schunk India; John Donlon, Executive Vice President of HURCO; Brijesh Agarwal, COO of Indiamart.com; P Ramdas, Managing Director of ACE; RSS Satish Babu, Chairman of ATC and K Ayyappan, President of AIEMA.
Concurrent with the exposition, an International Conference on Advances in Manufacturing Technology was also held by Chennai Institute of Technology. While ACMEE 2012 presented the latest in Manufacturing Technology, the Conference presented the emerging and futuristic trends in manufacturing technology.
The Exposition witnessed huge number of participants from around the world showcasing their products & services. The Exposition witnessed large number of footfall from visitors which included CEOs, Proprietors, Senior Managers & decision makers from Technical department, Designers & Merchandisers, and many others directly or indirectly related to the industry.
