Lift Roller Grader works on the principle of expanding gap rollers. The main chain has a series of rollers on fixed spacing, with another series of rollers mounted a little higher between them. At the feed end of the machine, the rollers are close together. The grader unit is used for the accurate two-dimensional sizing of potatoes/onions through the use of rotary screens. Agitation and screen speed are adjustable to suit the variety and conditions. A tuber ejection system can be added, which assists in removing any long varieties of potatoes/onions , which may become trapped in the screen thus preventing them from being cut by the final pintle rolle
