The battery powers a high efficiency inverter for lighting. The illumination from a PL-7 Wor 9 W lamp gives sufficient light for a small household or outdoor use during night.

Solar PV array powers the pump directly there is no battery in the system, lifts water from 3 mtrs to 50 mtrs head up to 30 mtrs capacity from 20,000 Lts to 60,000 Lts per day. Water produced by the pump can be stored in a tank or used directly for irrigation.
