Sam Gears (India) Pvt. Ltd. is a reputed manufacturer and exporter of Transmission Gears and Shafts for all Tractors. Established in 1996, the company is well adept at executing turnkey projects and has carved a niche for itself in its arena. Over the years, Sam Gears expanded its operations and with a practical understanding for customer needs, it has been catering with high quality components.  With an expanding customer base and rising market share, we have strengthened our international presence centered in Iran, Europe, USA, Turkey and other countries.

The company is equipped with most modern sophisticated new machines. The company has the capacity to manufacture all types of transmission gears for automobile and heavy vehicles. We are concentrating on tractors for our valuable customers in the rural areas.

Quality
Quality has always been the  prime concern at Sam Gears. We are equipped with latest testing facilities to ensure that the products are checked at all stages of the manufacturing process. With an aim to manufacture 'zero defect products' the company from the very inception is managed by a competent team of qualified and experienced engineers. The company is highly quality conscious and has earned a name in the country as a quality manufacturer of gears and shafts.

Manufacturing Process and Equipments
Blanks: The Blanks operation is being carried out on auto copying turning machines, T-pilot, S-pilot and Alfed Herbert Capstan Turret Lathes. Each blank is inspected at the quality department and then passed to the gear cutting section.

Gear Cutting: The Gear Division is equipped with high precision machines like Lease Brander Spline Hobbing, RH-8 Hobbing, Lorenz and Sykes Gear Shapers, Churchill and Red Ring Shaving Machine, Vertical Broaching Machine and imported Tooth Rounder Machine. The machinery installed is in a position to manufacture International quality standard of gears. The company is having its own tool room where hob and gear shaper cutters are resharped to a great accuracy. Once the Gear Cutting Operation is completed, 100% inspection is done by Junior Engineers.

H.T. and Metallurgy: The unit is equipped with Carburising along with Washing, Quenching & Tempering Furnaces. All gears and shafts produced in the company are subject to Heat Treatment Process.

Each and every piece is checked for its hardness which is maintained within 58-62 HRC Range. Core hardness and micro structure is also checked for every lot.

Grinding: All the components after heat treatment requires to be finished on internal and cylindrical grinding. This operation of internal and cylindrical grinding are being done on most precision and sophisticated machines procured from WMW and HMT.

The quality of gears and shafts depends on the accuracy of the grinding operations also affecting fitment during service.
