Direction for use
For cleansing and degreasing of Surgeons and operating temas hands:
Wet hands and forearms with water. Pour about 5ml of surgical scrub on the palm and spread over both the hands and forearms scrubbing thoroughly over all areas for about 2 mins. Add little water to develop foam. Rinse thoroughly under running water. Complete the cleansing with another 5 ml of Surgical Scrub in the same way.
Povidone Iodine Cleaning Solution USP is a broadspectrum microbicidal, effective against both Gram-ve and Gram-ve bacteria, fungi, protozoa, yeast and vgiruses including. HIV viruses. It inactivates microbes on direct contact. It is safe to use, does not stain fabric or hand sand does not leave thick or tacky film. It contains special surfactants to give lathering action at the same time has emollients and moisturizers to protect your skin.
For pre-operative use on patients
After the skin area is shaved, wet it with water, Apply the Surgical scrub on the skin and rub thoroughly for 5 mins. Rinse off by aid of sterile gauze saturated with water.
